Before you arrange the rehearsal
Bec’s current Intimate and Bespoke packages list a rehearsal. Confirm the location, timing, attendees and travel arrangements before inviting everyone. This guide does not promise a rehearsal for Legals Only or a separate venue visit for every booking.
People and entrances
- Who is entering, in what order and from where?
- Where will each person stand or sit?
- Who has the rings and any items used in the ceremony?
- Who are the two adult witnesses?
- Does anyone need step-free access, seating or extra time?
Words, music and sound
- Who cues entrance and exit music?
- Where will microphones and the PA be placed?
- Who supplies and operates each piece of equipment?
- When will readers or family members come forward?
- How will you hold or read your vows?
The service guide lists a PA for Intimate and Bespoke. Confirm power, sound restrictions and music responsibilities with the relevant suppliers rather than assuming the PA inclusion answers every sound question.
The practical plan B
Ask the venue who decides on an outdoor-to-indoor move, what the alternative space is and when that decision needs to happen. Check access, wind exposure and where guests will wait. These are planning questions, not a promise that Bec supplies a venue, shelter or wet-weather coordination.
Finish with a shared understanding
Confirm any changes with the people responsible for them. If Bec is also your MC, discuss how ceremony plans connect to the reception run sheet. Explore Celebrant + MC for the hosting role and its boundaries.
