Your celebrant, Bec x
Bec leading a garden ceremony with a couple holding hands

A familiar face. A fresh kind of ceremony.

Hello, I’m Bec.
Your story is
my favourite part.

I’m a Gold Coast celebrant with a soft spot for a good love story and absolutely no time for a dull ceremony.

After sitting through more than 20 weddings as a guest, I knew there was room for something different. More life. More laughter. More of the two people everyone came to celebrate.

So that’s what I do. I take your story and turn it into a ceremony that’s personal, heartfelt and unmistakably yours. Traditional, modern or a little of both. No repeat scripts, just you.

Find your kind of ceremony

“Personalisation is my thing.”

Less going through the motions.
More feeling every moment.

The happy tears. The unexpected laugh. That look between you.
A ceremony should be the part you can’t wait for.

Your day, your way

There’s no one way
to say “I do”.

A beautifully simple moment or a story told in full. Start with what feels like you.

Ask Bec a question
Where do you celebrate weddings?

I’m based in Currumbin Waters on the Gold Coast and travel from Byron to Brisbane, as well as interstate. Tell me where you’re planning your day and we can talk through the details.

Will our ceremony be written just for us?

Personalisation is my thing. My bespoke ceremonies are built around your story, rather than a repeat script. We can make the ceremony traditional, modern, a mix of both or something completely different.

What if we’re planning something small?

There are options for that, too. The Intimate Ceremony is tailored for up to 30 guests, with flexibility. Legals Only keeps the moment short and simple, with the legal vows and paperwork taken care of.

Can you also host our reception?

Yes. My MC and reception hosting service brings the same warmth and humour into the rest of your day, with support for introductions, speeches and the flow of your celebration.

How do we get started?

Tell me your date, ceremony location and a little about what you’re imagining. Use the enquiry section below to prepare your details for my existing contact form, or use the Show phone number button to call me. I’ll confirm availability and the right service with you directly.

Can you help us write our personal vows?

A: Yes, absolutely!

I offer a full end-to-end vow service to support my couples every step of the way. This includes guidance on crafting meaningful and personal vows, a template to help structure your words, and a review process to ensure your vows feel heartfelt and polished. I’m here to make sure your vows truly reflect your love story and the promises you want to make on your special day.

How do we complete the NOIM form?
  • You must show your original (not photocopied) birth certificate, extract of birth OR Passport.

  • If you have been married previously, you must show your Divorce Decree Absolute or Death Certificate of your previous spouse.

For full details and all the info for couples who are about to get married, I recommend visiting the Attorney General's Department

Do we really need a rehearsal?

YES! I strongly recommend this for the couple, the bridal party and whoever else is involved in the ceremony (doing a reading etc) to attend a rehearsal 1 week before the wedding, at the venue (if feasible) at the time of the ceremony. This is to check weather, ie if the sun will be in anyone eyes at the time of ceremony or for any last minute changes. This helps with nerves big time – even just to feel more confident about the choreography for the bridal party so there’s nothing left to do on the big day but to enjoy yourselves!

Does it matter what Celebrant we choose?

I understand that many couples regret not choosing a better wedding celebrant. It's unfortunate how often people realise too late that they wanted someone more lively, articulate, hospitable, or knowledgeable about ceremony options.

I don't just show up and talk for 20 minutes. When you hire me, I spend an average of 20 hours per wedding. This includes handling the legal paperwork, having meetings with you, writing a unique ceremony script, and staying in constant communication with you throughout the entire process.

I am dedicated to ensuring that you have the best possible ceremony and experience. I will engage with all of your guests, present you with all the possibilities, and create a personalised ceremony that perfectly reflects your personality and desires. After working with me, you'll know that you don't just want to settle for a cheap option.
